Cl 402
Fire alarm cable and circuit requirements
The fire alarm cabling tool reads one row per circuit type. Each row holds the smallest conductor size for two cores and for more than two, and the stranding threshold. It also holds the insulation resistance criterion, the AS/NZS 3013 fire rating and integrity time, and the supply subcircuit label. A null size means Clause 402.1 sets none for that circuit.
Verified: read against the printed standard, pages 44–45. Checked 26 Sept 2026.
Units: Size mm2, Insulation resistance MOhm, Fire rating minutes min
These are the values AmpSize encodes. No text of the standard is reproduced. Verify against the current standard.
