Is the AmpSize Android app free?

Yes. Every calculator is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases. A Pro account is only for saved work and reports on the website.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The calculators and their standards tables are on the phone. Nothing is sent anywhere to calculate.

Which standards does it use?

AS/NZS 3008.1.2 and AS/NZS 3008.1.1 for cables and AS/NZS 3000 for the checks, from the same tables as ampsize.nz. Each result names its table or clause.

Is there an iPhone app?

Not yet. On an iPhone, ampsize.nz has every calculator in the browser, with charts, PDF reports and projects.

Does it collect data?

No. There is no account and no analytics, and nothing leaves the phone. Saved calculations stay on the device.
